What are Huddles?

Huddles are our new boutique events bringing innovative brands face to face with leading retailers.

Our guaranteed in-person face to face meetings take place at a luxury hotel & events space and are the best way to engage with retailers in your sector. But if you can’t attend in person you can still gain traction and start conversations virtually with those retailers through our 4D video sessions or through our curated sampling opportunities.

We work closely with each retailer prior to the event to understand their objectives and areas they are most focused. We then select up to 50 brands that best meet these criteria, increasing the chances of our brand partners finding successful partnerships with our retailers.

Because of this approach brand participation at our Huddles is by application.

No matter which format you choose everything that happens at our Huddles is driven by our powerful technology, ensuring the conversations continue after the event.

Our Formats
In Person Huddles

Our Huddles take place in luxurious hotels & resorts, with accommodation, meals, drinks and entertainment included in the cost of your ticket.

The Day Before

You arrive the afternoon before your event and set up your brand zone; your own space to engage with the buyers and showcase your products. In the evening you can relax at our relaxed meet-up with music, drinks and a few surprises. A great chance to unwind and get to meet our team and the retailer buyers in an informal environment.

Event Day

You will meet with buyers from each major retailer for eight minutes, allowing you to present your brand and your vision for how it could work in their stores.

Activities & Actions

Each buying team will have instant access to your brand & product details via our platform, allowing them to take notes, request samples, schedule follow-up meetings and share & discuss your brand with the other members of their buying team. You will be able to record all next steps, respond to buyer requests and take notes on each meeting via your own events dashboard, ensuring you optimise the opportunities with every retailer.

In the Future

After the event you can continue to communicate with the buying teams, hold follow-up 1-on-1 meetings with retailers via our virtual meeting technology and share brand updates with the buying teams in the months after the event.

4D Video

We understand that not everyone can make it to our events in-person, so we offer the option to participate from a distance. You’ll be pitching to the same buyers from the same retailers, you just won’t be getting your air miles!

Before the Event

In the weeks before the event our team will work with you to create a pitch video. On the day all of the buyers will join us in small groups in our screening room. While they watch your pitch they will sample & engage with your products, ensuring they enjoy your full brand experience.

During the Event

As always this format is anchored by our powerful technology platform. Buyers have access to a dashboard custom build for our 4D experience, allowing them to gain instant access to your product details and take next steps while in the room.

In the Future

You will have the opportunity to follow up with buyers after the event. Buyers can schedule private 1-on-1 virtual pitches with your after the event to discuss your brand in more detail. All of this is included in your ticket price.

In Room Sampling

During the Event

When the buyers arrive on-site they will receive a small, curated selection of brands in their room. They will have access to your brand & product information on the dedicated event pages and will be able to share feedback with you, request further information or samples or schedule 1-on-1 virtual meetings with you to discover more about your brand.

In the Future

After the event the buyers can take your samples with them or we will arrange to have them shipped to the location of their choice.

Our Huddles have been designed to help your brand engage with the biggest retailers in your category and grow your business.

Participation in Huddles is limited to a select group of brands, to make space for truly meaningful interactions with buyers. We also ensure fair competition by hosting brands that bring something different and unique to the category.

Net Zero Carbon Events

There is an urgent need to accelerate the transition towards global net zero emissions, and the events industry has a key role to play. Events can often come with a big carbon footprint and those who are involved are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of the events they attend.

At Product Guru, we are fully committed to minimise carbon impact throughout all our activities, including our live events. We are implementing strong strategies to make our events Net Zero, reducing carbon emissions across all main sources, including travel, hospitality, catering and powering the event space.

We are also taking full responsibility for the carbon footprint, which is achieved by:

  • Calculating a draft footprint in advance of the event
  • Committing to a carbon reduction plan
  • Recalculating the carbon footprint following the event, using actual data
  • Offsetting the emissions associated with the event through bp Target Neutral
  • Disclosing the total amount of carbon calculated, summary of emission reduction activities, and details of the offsetting activity

Events shape conversations, foster innovation and generate business, but they don’t have to come at a cost to the environment. If you have challenging Net Zero goals to reach, you can attend our events with peace of mind, knowing that we support the pledge to address climate change and neutralise carbon emissions.
